Pop Folk Poetry
Discover the initiatory journey of Gael Faure, a French Bob Dylan whose music marks the renewal of pop folk and text-based song. An interview by Diane Marois.
From album to album, Gael Faure charts a distinctive course in French music. Saved from leukaemia by a shaman at the age of 10, when doctors gave him only a few months to live, Gael is constantly questioning the meaning of our lives.
As he himself says: "In this day and age, you really need to be spiritually armed to avoid sinking into madness, depression or anger! It's an opportunity to take care of yourself, to start again”. With grace, modesty and poetry, he never ceases to underline the wonders of life... as long as you have a little courage.
Between initiation, resilience and music, from the noblest pop to blues and folk, Gael Faure tells us another story of our times.
Join us and let yourself be transported by the free and poetic music of Gael Faure. After the conference, enjoy an intimate live performance by the artist.
