The Merode Music Club

June 30th

Tribute to De La Soul & the Native Tongues's impact on Hip Hop through their story, message, and lasting influence.

Joins us for a conference followed by a back-to-back DJ set with Kartell and Cézaire to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the label Roche Musique.

Surfing on Funk, House, RnB, NU Jazz sounds, this independent label has faced in the last 10 years a constantly changing industry with the advent of Spotify and other music platforms.

How did this label build its reputation and impose its style? How do you develop artists at a time when few radio stations support emerging artists? What are the encounters, choices and strategies that have made a difference and allowed the label to thrive until today?

Cézaire, the founder of Roche Musique, and Kartell, one of the first artists signed by the label, will tell us all about this unique adventure and their vision for the future before performing a back-to-back DJ set celebrating 10 years of Roche Musique.

Join us on June 30 for the last event of the season and let’s celebrate to the sound of the French Touch 3.0.
